Enter / Update WISEid's
Purpose: A WISEid is a unique, permanent, and unduplicated person identifier assigned to each person by DPI to maintain person information for schools. Its purpose is to prevent some data quality issues in state and federal reports and enable detailed data collection/reporting in other WISE applications.

Adding or Updating WISEid in Multiple Accounts
If more than 50 or 60 WISEid’s need to be updated or added to the platform, making it unwise and time-consuming to do individually, this information can be updated en masse by Frontline Education by completing the following steps:
- Run the “WI User Template” system report.
- Export, download, and open the report as a .csv file (button at bottom of screen).
- The file will have 7 columns of data. The "StateID" column is the WISEid.
Add the column heading “StateID” (without the quotes) in cell H1.
-
Enter the WISEid of users that need to be updated or added in column H of the row that corresponds to that user. ONLY add numbers to column H for users whose accounts need to be updated. If the WISEid indicated in column G is correct, leave the cell in column H blank.
-
Save the file as a .csv file in your local files.
-
Submit the file with your request to mass update user information by emailing Frontline Education Technical Support at pgsupport@frontlineed.com.
