What is WOW?

WOW is an ongoing, statewide professional development initiative designed to improve academic outcomes for students by supporting school-based educator teams as they reflect on their practice and work together to grow their skills.

Using a combination of site-based, virtual, and online activities, WOW events deliver simultaneous professional development to educator teams at 12 CESA sites statewide.

Educators statewide are invited to take advantage of the WOW à la Carte resources: a full menu of enrichment and extension activities designed to jump-start learning, support it between WOW events, and extend the learning to peers. WOW à la Carte resources available throughout 2017-18 include:

WOW events are designed to specifically support one or more school-based teams of educators (teachers and administrators) from all districts and 2R charters in Wisconsin. Registration for these live events are managed by the local CESAs. Teams must register for and attend both 2017-18 events.
