Rooted in Urban Ecology: Teaching Math and Literacy through Nature

Event Description

Urban Ecology Oshkosh is hosting a 4-day workshop for upper elementary and middle school teachers in the Oshkosh Area. Participants will receive Project WILD and Project WET books. Activities will focus on urban forestry, water quality and activities conducive to meeting literacy and mathematics standards.

We will take a field trip to the Urban Ecology Center in Milwaukee to learn about their EE program collaboration with local schools to envision how UEO could serve the Oshkosh Area Communities.
