Event Description

Birds are the most observable wildlife found in all environments including urban, suburban, and rural settings. They offer an excellent tool to engage students in learning, contribute to citizen science, and ignite curiosity and inquiry. During this workshop, experience close encounters with birds through bird banding with Bob Welch, middle school teacher and natural scientist from Waupaca. Walk away with ample resource ideas including many science and literacy connections. Please be prepared to be outside part of the day.

Graduate credit available for additional cost if you participate in any two approved workshops during the summer.
