Event Description

PreK-12 educators, teacher facilitators, occupational therapists and architects have benefited personally and professionally in FIELD Edventures' "Introduction to Natural Journaling" workshop and online community. Led by FIELD Edventures educators Ashley Hegewald and Emily Foster Hill.

Participate in live, interactive online sessions to learn how to further connect, explore, and engage with your learners in an inquiry-based, interdisciplinary nature journaling exploration of near nature. Build upon your observation skills, and explore tools and ideas that can assist you in equitably embedding inquiry-based, place-based outdoor education into your integrated curricula!

Registration is $50.00 USD. To register: Request to Join the free Connect, Explore, Engage online educator community; after making an account, you will be prompted to register for the workshop.

Upon completion of the workshop, you will receive a certificate from FIELD Edventures for 4 CEU hours.

The text—How to Teach Natural Journaling by Emilie Lygren and John Muir Laws—is available as a free PDF download. Many participants choose to purchase a printed edition. If interested, please consider purchasing a copy from FIELD Edventures' bookstore; each purchase supports our mission at no extra cost to you!
