WISCONSIN FBLA SUPPORT SITE FOR THE
2021 NATIONAL LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE
Tuesday, June 29 – Friday, July 2, 2021
Due to COVID-19, the National Leadership Conference has been rescheduled to a fully online experience for 2021. We look forward to the opportunity to return to an in-person event in 2022. Visit http://fbla-nlc.org/ for additional event details about this year's event as they are posted directly by the national office. This webpage has been developed to support student members, parents, advisers and other partners regarding procedures specific to Wisconsin FBLA operations.
Timeline
Any member who competed at the 2020 NLE, or any previous NLC, should note that all FBLA-PBL established guidelines regarding repeat competitors are in place for the 2021 NLC.
Request for Accommodation (formerly known as special needs request)—local advisers must submitted to the national office by May 14, 2021.
Date | Description |
Monday, April 26, 2021 |
Skill production test will be delivered to local advisers for administration and submission prior to midnight on Wednesday, May 19. The state office will submit all materials on May 20 prior to the national deadline of May 21. NEW THIS YEAR: Participants will need to add a unique URL that leads to each production test competitor’s PDF documents, which will have been placed by the competitor, in a cloud storage space (Dropbox, Google Drive, One Drive, etc.). It is extremely important that the URL be publicly accessible, shareable, and with no password protection. If the judges can’t access the URL, then the submission cannot be scored.

Friday, April 30, 2021 (prior to Noon) |
NLC 2021 Qualifier Verification confirmation to indicate Yes or No to competitive event participation. The spreadsheet for data entry was shared directly with local advisers on April 12, 2021. We encourage local advises to promptly indicate the status of qualifiers and alternates so local chapters can properly plan for participation and conference registration. Failure to confirm participation will be considered a non-response and chapter participants will be removed from consideration. Student and parents forms are no longer required to be completed by Wisconsin FBLA. All substitutions must be reported directly on the spreadsheet by local advisers. No other substitution form reporting or approvals are needed by the state office. Modification to student names is only permitted for team event rosters - no name changes may be made to individual events. |
Wednesday, May 5, 2021 |
Local advisers will receive confirmation of all national event rosters directly by email from Wisconsin FBLA State Adviser. Any potential errors in rostering must be promptly reported by the local adviser by emailing fbla@dpi.wi.gov. Event rosters will remain as published in association with the national deadline requiring state event rosters to be finalized by midnight on Friday, May 14.
