About Wisconsin Academic Standards

Wisconsin Academic Standards specify what students should know and be able to do in the classroom. They serve as goals for teaching and learning and provide a foundation for curriculum development and instructional planning. School districts determine their own curriculum and instructional materials while using the standards to guide local decision-making.
