Hartford- Arts Educators Professional Day of Learning (Standards and Assessment)

The day will investigate two areas - arts standards and assessments. Educators for art, music, theatre, and dance in the morning session will be guided through the standards by WI DPI Fine Arts and Creativity Education Consultant, Julie Palkowski. All participants will have an opportunity to navigate their respective standards (or at least a draft), see accompanying resources online, and share ideas for implementation into the classroom. The afternoon session will include a review of arts assessment strategies, methods of data collection, and additional application in the arts. Bring your laptop or tablet with you for the sessions.
