CESA 4 - Arts Educators Professional Day of Learning (Standards and Assessment)

The day will be focused on two areas - arts standards and assessment. The morning session is dedicated to the Wisconsin DPI Arts Standards & Resources. Participants will be guided through the standards of all four areas -Dance, Music, Theatre, and the Art & Design (Draft) by WI DPI Arts and Creativity Education Consultant, Julie Palkowski. All participants will have an opportunity to navigate standards, see accompanying resources online, and share ideas for implementation into the classroom.  The day is highly interactive and promotes networking and conversations among like arts area groupings. The afternoon will engage participants in a review of arts assessment strategies, methods of data collection, and additional application in the arts.
