The Wisconsin Annual Digital Learning Survey provides valuable and usable data for school districts across the state. The  survey is designed to capture key insights that can drive the effective integration of educational technology across Wisconsin. To help districts prepare for the survey window, there is a printable PDF available below. Use this to gather information in advance and make the online submission process smooth and efficient. 

Beginning with the 2026–27 collection cycle, this survey also includes required statewide collection components associated with implementation of district wireless communication device policies in concordance with Wis. Stat. § 120.12(29).  To avoid duplicative data collection and reduce burden on the field, the PDF of the district’s adopted wireless communication policy will be collected through the required Digital Learning Survey, which will serve as the official submission mechanism for LEAs across the state.

The link for the survey was released on June 30, 2026 in the EdLeaders Dispatch. Unlike in years passed, every district will use the same survey link.  Each district will NOT have its own unique link.
