Districts of Innovation
Innovative practices are used every day, but in some cases, more flexibility is needed to accomplish school district objectives. To address this, school districts have an option to use waivers to provide the flexibility needed to be come Innovative Districts and pursue locally driven solutions that will improve outcomes for their students. If a school district is interested in becoming a district of innovation, they can use the waiver form at https://dpi.wi.gov/cal/innovation/waivers .
