Color Blind or Color Brave?: Learning with Mellody Hobson

Monday, September 10, 2018

When we are color brave we include race in conversations in order to better understand each other, which creates meaningful human interactions and furthers decision making and progress.

This equity mini-challenge asks you to view Mellody Hobson's TED Talk about replacing color blindness with color bravery. We encourage you to apply the Four Agreements when reflecting on or discussing the talk.

Connection to Wisconsin’s Model for Culturally Responsive Practices: This mini-challenge focuses on increasing our self-awareness (part of building the desire to lead or "will") within an equitable multi-level system of support.

Access the challenge in Google Drive or as a PDF. Discuss the challenge with other coaches in the Google+ Community.
