The Wisconsin Retired Educators’ Association (WREA) Foundation Challenge Award Program will recognize and support ongoing innovative projects that improve students’ environment, school, or community. This year, WREA is providing awards to help fund existing innovative programs at the middle school level.
Five 1st place awards of $2,000 each will be given to Wisconsin public middle schools. Five $250 awards will be given to 2nd place Wisconsin public middle schools as well. Innovative projects must already be in place based on the 2017-18 or 2018-19 school years.
Applications for the Wisconsin Retired Educators’ Association Challenge Award will be accepted through February 1, 2019. Award winners will be contacted the first week of March, with a recognition event to follow.
