2020 Open Education Resource Innovation Grants Available

Tuesday, April 28, 2020

CESA 4 is providing up to 30 grants of $10,000 each to support Wisconsin educators through WISELearn, DPI’s dynamic digital library and network. Materials will be shared for others to use as Open Educational Resources via WISELearn.

Open Education Resources are teaching and learning materials that have been made easier to use via licensing, usually under Creative Commons, to be freely used, distributed without restriction, and often modified without additional permissions.

All applicants must be Wisconsin public school districts or CESAs partnered with a consortium of schools. There are two different types of innovation grants:

  1. Professional learning and implementation of English language arts, math, and science instructional materials for Wisconsin public school educators.

  2. Creation and implementation of high-quality open educational resources for teaching and learning in all other subject areas.

Access specific details for each grant along with the application on the DPI OER Innovation Grants web page.

The application deadline is June 12, 2020.
