COVID Response and Relief Planning Recommendations Resource

Tuesday, March 30, 2021

A new Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction web page offers local education agencies ideas for use of the current one-time funding from the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSAA).

The COVID Response and Relief Planning Recommendations include direct services to students, professional development, curriculum materials, or maintaining infrastructure.

As schools return to on-campus classes, local education agencies (LEAs) should assess their students’ needs in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic response. Specifically, LEAs should identify and address opportunity gaps, and use one-time funding to provide targeted supports to students to accelerate their learning to close those gaps.

Visit the COVID Response and Relief Planning Recommendations web page to review myriad categories of suggested recommendations.
