Out-of-School Time Professionals Celebrated

After declaring April 19-23 Out-of-School Time Professionals Appreciation Week, State Superintendent Carolyn Stanford Taylor shared a video expressing her gratitude and uplifting those who have done so much for students and families, from providing safe spaces, delivering programming resources, and distributing meals.

In the new video, Stanford Taylor applauds the professionals working in out-of-school time programs for their creativity and ability to adapt during the COVID-19 pandemic to support students and families.

She says, “Wisconsin’s out-of-school time programs are dynamic and complex environments requiring innovative approaches to achieving the most positive impact for our youth.”

Out-of-school time professionals have done so much for children and families, and the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction thanks them for all they do!
