The Power of Human Connection: Collaborating for the Future

Tuesday, February 8, 2022

The Institute for Personalized Learning, a division of CESA #1, is hosting the 12th Annual Convening on Personalized Learning, titled “The Power of Human Connection: Collaborating for the Future”, from February 22-23, 2022. This event is considered the organization's flagship event every year.

The National Convening on Personalized Learning is an opportunity for educators interested in transforming education through personalized learning to come together to discuss emerging best practices, lessons learned, and introduce new topics or aspects of student-centered learning.

The convening has three purposes: to network, share, and learn. This event will be presented virtually and is available at no cost for all Wisconsin public, tribal, charter, and private schools serving students in grades 4K-12 and Institutes of Higher Education and licensing centers for pre-service educators thanks to ESSER funding.

This year’s event features the following keynote speakers (bio info):

  • Supporting Personalized, Competency-Based Learning by Honoring Agency
    • Jason Berg - Superintendent, Farmington Public Schools, MN
  • Keep it REAL. Keep it FUN. Keep it UP!
    • Joe "Mr. D" Dombrowski
