Precollege Scholarship Program Grant Cycle Open

Tuesday, February 16, 2021

The Wisconsin Educational Opportunity Programs (WEOP) 2021-23 Precollege Scholarship Program Grant cycle is now open. The Precollege Scholarship Program allows students eligible for free or reduced-price meals from across the state to experience college life on a college campus while they are attending middle and high school. College campuses are awarded funds through a competitive process.

The programs are offered at a variety of public and private colleges and universities in Wisconsin. They can be residential or non-residential and must have either an academic or career emphasis. Program lengths vary from campus to campus, and programs are offered during the summer as well as during the school year.

Institutions interested in submitting an application can access the application on the DPI Precollege Scholarship Program web page. Precollege Scholarship Program Proposal applications must be submitted electronically by March 5, 2021.

Students interested in participating in a Precollege Scholarship Program on a Wisconsin campus can apply to participate in a spring offering, or by contacting Alisia Marquez: alisia.marquez@dpi.wi.gov. Students can access the application on the Precollege Scholarship Program web page.
