And they work every day to make sure our kids are fired up and excited about all the ways they can use math and science to understand and better our world.”
Established in 1983, PAEMST is the highest award K-12 math and science teachers can receive from the U.S. government. The application process asks nominees to demonstrate their content knowledge while showing their ability to adapt to different learners and teaching environments. Each recipient receives $10,000 and a certificate signed by President Biden, along with travel to an awards ceremony in Washington D.C.
K-6 WI Finalists have been named for 2024 and are currently awaiting a national announcement.
2025 applications are due Feb 6.
