The 2020 Whipping Up Wellness Wisconsin Student Chef Competition Cookbook is now available. Because the student chefs could not participate in the annual Student Chef Cook-Off this year due to COVID-19, this year’s competition was narrowed to a recipe contest.
72 school teams of 3-5 middle and high school students submitted recipes for the competition. Recipes were scored on nutritional analysis, creativity and originality, student acceptance, and school meal menu appeal. The cookbook is full of nutritious recipes that could be included in any school food service program or at home.
