Monday, April 9, 2018

The Wisconsin Center for the Advancement of Postsecondary Education (WISCAPE) is answering the call to educate an increasingly diverse student population. The overarching purpose of the summit is to raise awareness about Wisconsin’s changing demographics to better understand challenges traditionally underrepresented students face as they pursue a college education. Participants will focus on opportunities related to student access, enrollment, and persistence in college. WISCAPE will host this inaugural summit in Madison, WI on April 26th.

Jamie Merisotis, the president and CEO of the Lumina Foundation and a globally recognized leader in philanthropy, education, and public policy, will be the keynote speaker. Other featured speakers and panelists from across the country will facilitate dialogue on how to strengthen educational opportunities across the K-16 pipeline.

K-12 educators, college faculty, administrators, students, and policymakers are welcomed as participants and contributors to this event.
