Wisconsin School Bus Driver Appreciation Week

Tuesday, February 4, 2020

The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction joins with Governor Tony Evers to recognize the important contribution that bus drivers make in support of education in the state.

Thousands of dedicated men and women work every day to transport children to and from school. They become friends and protectors of their passengers, responsible for students’ safety in sometimes difficult conditions, and their work is respected and appreciated.

Transporting students over the millions of miles each school year, school bus drivers provide one of the safest ways to make sure students get to and from school.
