Stanford Taylor commends Monroe teacher

State Superintendent of Public Instruction Carolyn Stanford Taylor congratulated Sarah Compton for being named a Milken Educator. Compton is a fifth-grade teacher at Northside Elementary in the Monroe School District. She received the award from the Milken Family Foundation at a ceremony in her school today.
