Now Available: New Recipes in the Child Nutrition Recipe Box (CNRB)
Fifteen standardized recipes have been added to the Child Nutrition Recipe Box (CNRB), 7 of which are existing favorites that have been revised to reflect updates from the final rule, “Child Nutrition Programs: Meal Patterns Consistent With the 2020–2025 Dietary Guidelines for Americans,” and 8 new recipes that provide additional ideas for breakfast and lunch menus.
The 8 new recipes include:
- Whole Wheat Pancakes
- Cauliflower Rice
- Chicken Salad
- Griddle Corn Cakes
- Breakfast Bowl
- Taco Salad
- Sweet Potato Hummus
- Quinoa Bowls
The 7 revised recipes are:
- Pumpkin Bread
- Oatmeal Muffin Squares
- Kati Kati Chicken
- Jerk Fish Wrap
- Orange Glazed Carrots
- Orange Glazed Sweet Potatoes
- Vegetable Frittata
USDA Standardized Recipes provide program operators and menu planners with appealing and practical menu options for the National School Lunch Program, School Breakfast Program, and the Child and Adult Care Food Program.

Scientific Report of 2025 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee Now Available Online
The Scientific Report of the 2025 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee is now available on Dietary Guidelines for Americans Webpage. The report contains the 2025 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee’s (Committee) independent, evidence-based findings and advice to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). The Scientific Report, alongside public comments and federal agency input will inform the two departments as they develop the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, 2025-2030, which is expected to be published in late 2025.

Subscribe to the Summer Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) Bulletin
Summer EBT is an income-based USDA benefit program that helps eligible families buy food for their children during the summer when nutritious school meals are not always available. Summer EBT is a partnership between the Wisconsin Departments of Health Services and Public Instruction.
