Choice Program Requirements Training and Quiz

Who can be a Choice administrator?

Each private school participating in the Choice programs must have a Choice administrator, who must have a username and password for the Online Application System (OAS) in order to submit required choice program reports.

The choice administrator must be an owner of the private school or an individual appointed as the Choice administrator by the school’s governing body. The choice administrator must have at least a bachelor degree from an accredited institution or a teaching license or administrator license issued by the DPI. See the Staff Credentials Bulletin, available on our Program Bulletins webpage for more information.

What training is required?

Choice administrators of private schools first participating in the Choice program and  new Choice administrators of schools currently in the Choice program are required to read the Choice Program Requirements Training and successfully complete the Program Requirements quiz.

In addition, the Choice administrator must complete the OAS Access trainings and the OAS Access Quiz.  More information on the OAS Access trainings and quiz is available at OAS Access Trainings and Quiz

A Choice administrator may print the PDF of the quiz questions for either or both quizzes and complete them as he/she reads the training and then enter the answers in the electronic quiz form.

How will Choice administrators receive OAS username and passwords?

Upon receipt of the Choice Administrator Authorization and Update form, located on the School Submitted Reports and Forms webpage, indicating the training(s) and quiz(es) have been completed, OAS username(s) and password(s) will be emailed to the administrator and designees via kiteworks secure email. Passwords will not be provided over the phone.
