We Are Here For You

artifact

The Partner Support Team VISION is the purposeful alignment of resources and technology needed for educational reporting.

The Partner Support Team MISSION is to collect accurate information about schools, public libraries, students and education in WI, through the use of online data applications that gather limited and timely data from public school districts, private schools, and non-district charter schools to meet reporting requirements of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA).

Collecting and reporting data about schools and libraries through our renowned online WISE-suite of applications is the backbone of what we do. The heart of the Partner Support Team, however,  is supporting our partnering local education agencies (LEAS) to complete their state and federal school data reporting requirements.

Training, Webinars and Webpage Resources

artifact

Training and webinars occur all the time, like our weekly WISE User Group Webinar.

WISE User Group Webinar

Need help figuring out data related concerns? Join us for User Group webinars! These webinars occur regularly throughout the school year and even over the summer. Hosted by the Partner Support Team and assisted by guest speakers from DPI, you can ask questions specific to your specific data needs and get immediate answers from real people - no robocall responses! If we can't fully resolve your need on the call, we will open a Help Ticket for you and reconnect until a solution is found. The WISE User Group Webinar has a place for everyone, from the newest beginners to the most experienced.

Visit the WISEdata Events Calendar page to find the next WISE User Group Webinar and view other training opportunities and events that support you and your use of the WISE platform of applications.

Great Web Resources

Training

  • The WISEtraining webpage is full of options that range from eLearning courses, quick videos to help you get started and mini tutorials to help you better understand our WISE suite of data applications at your pace.
  • Looking for slides and videos of recorded training for key data collection times during the school year? Visit the Slides and Videos webpage
  • User Guides help you know what steps to take on specified WISE applications to accomplish specific tasks. You can search for User Guides for WISEadmin, assigning User Roles through WISEhome, WISEid, and WISEstaff.
  • The WISE landing page offers resources specific to your role within your local education agency.

Changes, Information and Updates:

  • We continually update our Data Elements to provide you with resources that apply to your needs.
  • Visit the Notifications page to see recent communications we send to schools/LEAs across a variety of topics. Items are listed chronologically, with the most recent on top.
  • Search our Knowledge Base Articles Portal to find more information on how to resolve data validation warnings and errors.
  • We publish Release Notes  every other Tuesday (with some mild adjustments throughout the year, like summer and winter holiday seasons (projects completion is slower with staff vacations)). Visit the Release Notes webpage for the most current release of updates. The Archive/Historical pages contain everything from the previous release through the past five years of releases.
  • Have an unusual data scenario? Check out our Uncommon WISEdata Situations page to see if we have an explanation or a resource to help.

Hosting the Annual WISEdata Conference

Receiving

A primary goal of the our WISEdata Conference is for DPI to listen to the reporting, analysis, and data usage needs of its attendees (e.g., school districts, public and Choice schools, and CESAs).

Giving Back

Based on feedback from those we are beholden to, we present attendees with information related to new features and functionality in WISE applications.

In doing so, we provide attendees with a better understanding of state and federal reporting requirements, including any updates and changes for the upcoming school year

Visit our WISEdata Conference webpage to find dates, location and featured sessions.
