In Wisconsin, a growing number of districts and schools are designing and implementing personalized learning environments for their students. The innovative work going on in schools is exciting. Through the Institute for Personalized Learning’s Field Experiences, educators are able to see first-hand the transformative efforts to personalize learning. Individuals can tour schools and classrooms to see how teaching and learning occurs in a personalized learning environment in different subject areas and different grade levels. In addition to observing classrooms and talking with educators engaged in personalized learning, individuals will participate in staff development activities focused on implementing personalized learning. The Field Experience assists individuals in developing a better understanding of personalized learning.
