Celebrate F2S with the Cucumber Crunch!
Join in the fun of the Cucumber Crunch, a celebratory event to promote local foods and F2S during the summer months! K-12 schools, early care and education sites, non-profit organizations… ANYONE who wants to show support for local farmers and school food can participate. Pick any date this summer to Crunch into locally grown cucumbers (or another in-season fruit or vegetable). Register your event and receive FREE Cucumber Crunch stickers and a cucumber seed packet on a first-come, first-serve basis. Wisconsin F2S and ECE Statewide Information Sessions
Interested in learning more about F2S/F2ECE work happening throughout Wisconsin? Join these new, monthly calls to receive updates on open grants, training opportunities, new resources, upcoming events, current projects, and more! Standing updates will be provided by the Department of Public Instruction (DPI), Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection (DATCP), Department of Health and Human Services (DHS), University of Wisconsin - Madison, Division of Extension, and the state leads for the Lake Michigan School Food System Innovation Hub Grants. Calls will be held the fourth Thursday of each month from 1:30 – 2:30 PM, starting Thursday, April 25. Registration coming soon!
