Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) Opt-In Waiver for School Year 2021-2022 National School Lunch Program USDA Foods Entitlement Calculations
Please review this waiver: Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) Opt-In Waiver for School Year 2021-2022 National School Lunch Program USDA Foods Entitlement Calculations. The purpose of this waiver is to help reduce the impact of school year (SY) 2020-21 COVID-19 related school closures on states’ SY 2021-22 USDA Foods entitlement.

The School Nutrition Team is seeking to fill two Nutrition Program Consultant positions. The deadline to apply is February 4, 2021.
Educational and Enrichment Activities for the Afterschool Snack Program
With learning plans changing by the week and drastic fluctuations in meal participation, we know you’ve got a lot on your plate!
Here are some Educational and Enrichment Activities you can share directly with students to go along with their Afterschool snack. Most of these activities work for in-person students or for virtual or at-home learners, with a variety of activities for different ages. You can share the links with families, print out the activity sheets and slide into a snack sack, or play the videos during snack time, as you wish. We hope this is helpful to those of you providing Afterschool snack.
