2022-2023 Summer and Interim Session Reporting

Friday, August 12, 2022

The PI-1804 and PI-1804/1805 reporting portals will open on August 15 for districts to submit summer and interim session data. The portals will close on September 30, 2022.

The summer and interim session guidance along with the PI-1804 and PI-1804/1805 workbooks are available in the Summer and Interim Sessions webpage. Information of the Virtual Summer School Rule that was adopted last fall as revision to the PI-17 administrative rule can also be found on that page. This rule permits districts to count minutes of instruction for virtual, non-credit, summer and interim session classes offered to students in grades 9 through 12 and taught by a licensed teacher.

The PI-17 revision does not affect online classes for high school credit completed by students in grades 7-12, allowed by statute and the 8,100 minutes per credit equivalency.
