The FY2024-25 High-Cost Special Education Aid Reporting Module deadline is Monday, March 2, 2026
High-Cost Special Education (HCSE) Aid provides additional support for school districts and other eligible LEAs serving students with disabilities that are significant and costly. Agencies apply for partial reimbursement of the costs for individual students in the previous fiscal year. The HCSE aid program is administered under s. 115.881, Wis. Stats., and PI 30, Wis. Admin. Code.
The High-Cost Special Education Aid report located in the Wisconsin School Finance Portal (WiSFiP) is open until Monday, March 2, 2026. LEAs will report high-cost data from FY 2024-25 for aid reimbursement in FY2026. See the SFS High-Cost Special Education Aid webpage for more information and new online presentations!
Agencies are encouraged to submit their data early in the process for review in case revisions are needed prior to the deadline of March 2, 2026.
