The SFS Team and others at DPI have begun getting some school finance-related questions, such as:
- Do we need to recode staff if they're still on payroll with school closed?
- How are grant and Common School Fund timelines being handled?
- What will be done with Open Enrollment payments?
DPI's focus thus far in responding to COVID-19 has been on student safety and school logistics, and we are now starting to discuss school finance questions internally.
In order to help us manage workload, we ask that you use the following Google Form to submit your school finance questions: DPI SFS COVID-19 Finance Question Submission. Note that unless a question is very specific to your district's/LEA's/agency's situation, we will likely not follow up directly but instead make the questions and answers publicly available for all.
