Amounts for the January 18, 2022 payment of Special Education and School-Age Parents categorical aid, the third payment of the year, have been determined. We were able to increase the proration rate from 29.84 used in the December aid payment calculation to 29.89 for the January aid payment. A slightly lower rate is used for these payments to avoid overpayment; the final payment in June 2022 will reflect each LEA’s full aid eligibility at the year’s final proration rate. Aid computation and eligibility worksheets have been posted.
