Updated Revenue Limit Worksheet Coming Soon

Wednesday, October 2, 2019

Along with the October 15 general aid certification, the SFS Team will begin daily updates of the prepopulated 2019-20 Revenue Limit worksheet. Each update is based on current membership and financial data in the SAFR reports. The October 15 update will include amounts for the nonrecurring choice (RPCP, WPCP, and SNSP) exemptions. It will also include counts for the new independent charter schools, which are added to the Revenue Limit 3-year membership average.

As a reminder, it is a district’s responsibility to determine its tax levy. The SFS Team provides the Revenue Limit worksheet as a resource for budget planning and to display how we would calculate limits based on the data we have at the time. Your district’s worksheet is only as good as your data reported to DPI, so we encourage you to verify that your district’s membership and financial reports are complete and correct.
