The SFS team has been meeting with LEAs and SIS vendors to discuss progress and receive feedback. Matt Baier, the SFS fiscal data coordinator, has reached out to LEAs who are not yet pushing data to WISEdata finance and is helping determine plans of support.
For LEAs that are not working with an Ed-Fi certificated school finance software vendor (or are working through obstacles that are preventing the transmission of financial data), there is an option to utilize an Alternative Reporting Mechanism (ARM) to manually upload financial data into WISEdata Finance. Please submit a WISEdata Finance help ticket if you would like to explore this option.
Our current focus is ensuring that all LEAs are submitting financial data to WISEdata finance, either through their vendor or by utilizing the ARM. Once we’ve reached that milestone, we will be concentrating on resolving data quality issues and providing technical assistance to ensure we are using accurate data for the purposes of reporting aid calculation.
