Subject – 2016-17 Approval and Denial Decisions Not Entered in OPAL

We currently have 113 districts for Transfers In and 218 districts for Transfers Out that have not 
entered their approval and denial decisions into OPAL for their 2016-17 open enrollment 
applications.  The deadline to enter this information was June 10th for Transfers In and June 17th 
for Transfers Out.  If you have not entered this information, you must do so by Wednesday, July 
13th. 

In addition, the Intent to Attend notifications were required to be entered into OPAL by July 7th.  
If a nonresident district fails to enter this information, any pupils who indicated that they will 
attend the district will not be transferred to your All Students list when the OPAL rollover 
occurs on August 1st.  

Once the OPAL rollover occurs on August 1st, these screens will be locked and cannot be 
reopened.
