In these situations, the nonresident district needs to indicate how many days the pupil attended as a non-SPED pupil and as a SPED pupil, because there are two different open enrollment aid amounts used to calculate the payment. The attachment below shows two examples of pupils who are partial SPED and partial non- SPED during the school year. These examples provide you the step by step process on how to report the SPED and non-SPED information in OPAL.
