From: DPI Open Enrollment Sent: Thursday, September 16, 2021 6:32 PM To: Demrow, Jennifer DPI Subject: Need to Review All Students Tab for Alternative Application Students Enrolled during the 2020-21 School Year To – District Administrators and Open Enrollment Coordinators From – Jen Demrow, Open Enrollment Consultant Subject – Need to Review All Students Tab for Alternative Application Students Enrolled during the 2020-21 School Year Even though this topic was covered in the 3rd Friday OPAL Reporting list serv notice that was sent out on 9/13/21, we are still getting lots of questions and thought it would be helpful to address it in its own list serv notice. Please note: When the OPAL rollover occurred on August 2nd, some alternative application students whose enrollment date was after the 3rd Friday Count date in the 2020-21 school year may not have rolled over properly to the All Students tab. Please review your All Students tab and if some students are missing, the nonresident district will need to send us an email at openenrollment@dpi.wi.gov with the students’ names and our programmer will manually add these students to your All Students tab. Once the names have been added, we will send you a confirmation email. As the resident district, you should review your All Students tab for your Transfers Out and if you believe there are students missing from that list, you will need to send an email to the nonresident district. In turn, if it is necessary, they will need to send us an email requesting that the student be added to their All Students tab. Only a nonresident district can request a student name be added to the All Students tab. If you have any questions, please contact us at openenrollment@dpi.wi.gov or call us at 888- 245-2732, option 2.
