Subject – Reminder: Deadline to Submit a SPED Actual Cost Financial Statement – Thursday, 
September 30
 
This is just a reminder that the SPED Actual Cost tab in OPAL will be locked at 11:59pm on 
Thursday, September 30 for nonresident school districts to enter or edit a SPED Actual Cost 
Financial Statement. After this date, nonresident districts will not be able to enter or edit any 
SPED Actual Cost Financial Statements. 

Nonresident districts will be able to withdraw a SPED Actual Cost Financial Statement up until 
11:59pm on Monday, October 11. After this date, nonresident districts will not be able to 
withdraw any SPED Actual Cost Financial Statements.
