This grant was completed between October 2015 and September 2020 and was funded by a $5,453,435 grant from the US Department of Education, Institute of Education Sciences.

Major outcomes fall under two priority areas:

Instructional Support

  • Extend the Statewide Longitudinal Data System to classroom relevant data 
  • Increase assessment literacy and strategic assessment practices
  • Increase data-informed planning and better facilitate research improvement planning

Research and Evaluation

  • Use SLDS to identify and evaluate equity-promoting practices
  • Increase local evaluation capacity
  • Conduct cross-agency research on school context
