There are significant shifts in pedagogy and student expectations with the revised WI Standards for Social Studies. This session will introduce shifts in pedagogy and student expectations in the new standards, learn about the inquiry arc, an essential part of quality social studies teaching and learning, and provide time to unpack and repack the standards.

This is part of a series of workshops at CESA 9 on the new social studies standards. Additional dates are Dec 12 (Disciplinary Literacy), Jan 23, 2019 (Elementary), March 5, 2019 (State Requirements), and May 9, 2019 (Civic Engagement & Reflection).
