Event Description
Get your students thinking like geographers! Develop plans for deepening student engagement with the use of geo-inquiry and interactive mapping tools. Integrate inquiry-based learning into your social studies and literacy lessons. This two-day geo-inquiry workshop is for K-12 teachers. Registration is open - with a $50 (non-refundable) registration hold and ends June 15.
- What? This is a Wisconsin Geographic Alliance workshop, working with National Geographic ($50 registration fee).
- Who? For you! The workshop will be led by WIGA leaders Connie & Peter Michaud and other WIGA Geo-Inquiry Teacher-Consultants.
- Why? This is for you if you want to add more inquiry-based learning and geo-tools into your teaching, work with other like-minded educators in an inspiring facility, and take home a handsome ($200) stipend upon completion.
