National School Counseling Week, February 3 - 7, 2025: Helping Students Thrive

Thursday, January 30, 2025

As National School Counseling Week 2025 approaches, schools across the nation are gearing up to celebrate school counselors who champion education, working tirelessly to help students uncover their strengths, build academic, social, emotional, and career readiness skills, provide mental health support, and overcome the challenges they face. School counselors’ influence extends across every aspect of school life, as they foster and advocate for an environment where students feel supported, understood, and empowered to thrive both in school and in the world beyond.

From February 3 - 7, 2025, the spotlight will shine on school counselors across Wisconsin. State Superintendent Dr. Jill Underly, proclaims February 3- 7, 2025 as National School Counseling Week, with this year’s theme: School Counseling: Helping Students Thrive. Please join us in recognizing, thanking, and celebrating school counselors for their tremendous contributions to Wisconsin students, families, communities, and education.
