Notifications for Exceeding 1% Participation Threshold on Alternate Assessment

Thursday, November 17, 2022

On Tuesday, November 15, 2022, districts received an email regarding notification of exceeding the 1.0 percent participation threshold in one or more given subjects on the alternate assessment, Dynamic Learning Maps (DLM), for the 2021-22 academic year. Local educational agencies will now find the 1 percent Participation Threshold Data in WISEgrants. Districts no longer receive printed copies of notifications containing their data.

All LEAs should view their data in WISEgrants. Accessing the Alternate Assessment Participation Rates in WISEgrants provides step-by-step instructions for viewing a district’s alternate assessment participation rates. Justifications should be submitted by Wednesday, December 14, 2022.

If you need assistance accessing WISEgrants, please send an email request to ideafiscal@dpi.wi.gov. If you have questions or need additional information on the email content or data, please contact Iris Jacobson at iris.jacobson@wi.dpi.gov or call (608) 264-9557.
