At a universal level of support, Educators Forward will provide public access to a toolkit of professional learning modules based on existing high-quality supports, embedding High Leverage Practices (HLPs) and College and Career Ready IEPs. The HLPs are organized into four domains: Collaboration, Data-Driven Planning, Instruction in Behavior and Academics, and Intensify and Intervene as Needed. HLPs are meant for ALL educators to support all students; accordingly, resources are provided for a variety of roles of those implementing practices. The modules allow anyone - including family members, educators, and leaders - to access relevant and just-in-time content to foster effective classroom practices for ALL students, but particularly students with disabilities.
Grant Objective: Create online repository of professional learning modules for special educators and families.
