WI Act 166 sec. 19(115.415) requires the use of the Wisconsin (WI) Educator Effectiveness (EE) System for the evaluation of teachers and principals. The Wisconsin Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired (WCBVI), a division of the Department of Public Instruction (DPI), received requests for EE System assistance from supervisors and administrators in evaluating their staff who are Teachers of the Blind and Visually Impaired (TVI), as well as from our Wisconsin TVIs, themselves. The role and responsibilities of the TVI are unique and often do not follow the model of the classroom educator. A volunteer workgroup of Wisconsin TVIs and evaluators developed the Wisconsin TVI Rubric examples to guide the conversation between the TVI and evaluator. Look for more information in August 2024!
