The Department of Public Instruction Library Services Team announced today the release of the Statewide Data Landscape Study Final Report. The report coincides with the objectives of the DPI 2023-2027 LSTA Strategic Plan, which includes developing and increasing public library staff’s access to, awareness of, and use of data, resources, and tools for library service and administrative decision-making and planning.
The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) released the final version of the Library Services and Technology Act Institute of Museum and Library Services (LSTA) Grant Information and Guidelines 2023. All Wisconsin regional public library systems are eligible to apply.

The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) Library Services Team will be joining colleagues across the state for the Wisconsin Association of Public Libraries (WAPL) Annual Conference 2023, April 26-28, 2023, at the Best Western Premier Waterfront Hotel & Conference Center in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
The Library Services Team at the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) announced today a contract with the reading engagement platform Beanstack through April 2025. The agreement with Zoobean, Inc. provides new and continued access to Beanstack for all interested Wisconsin public libraries and public school libraries. This program is being offered through the DPI with funding from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) grant.
