Important Notice

 

Educators with an invalidated Life or Lifetime license have until December 31st to revalidate their license.  Upon approval of the $45 Request Background Check - Lifetime Licensee [5900] application, the Lifetime license will be revalidated just as if the educator completed the application before June 30th. Educators will have until December 31st to complete this application for their license to be revalidated.

Applicants for Wisconsin licensure through the DPI License Based on Equivalency (LBE) process must complete the edTPA as a component of Part 2 of their LBE application. Passing scores for the LBE process are as follows:

  • For handbooks that have 15 rubrics, the passing score is 39.
  • For the handbook that has 18 rubrics (Elementary Education-Literacy with Math), the passing score is 46.
  • For the handbook that has 13 rubrics (World Language), the passing score is 33.

Please note that these scores are subject to change by the State Superintendent of Public Instruction.
