The following nine districts worked for over two years to develop local plans to address their inequitable distribution. While their plans were developed outside of the new ESSA local plan, they are posted here for your reference. Under ESSA, all districts will put their answer to the question about inequitable distribution and their plan for fixing any inequities in their local plan. You will note that some of these plans are heavy on action steps of the “second type”. Be sure that your plan includes mostly action steps of the “first type” described on the Inequitable Distribution of Teachers home page.
