Feedback Needed: WPLC's Data Dashboard Pilot

Thursday, December 5, 2024

In partnership with the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) and WiLS, Wisconsin Public Consortium's (WPLC) Data Dashboard Pilot continues through December and we need your help. Your feedback regarding the Data Dashboard Pilot is very important. In particular, we are interested in participant experiences, perceptions of a tool such as this dashboard, suggestions for additional content and functionality, and opportunities for improvement.

As part of a statewide pilot, this tool provides insights about a variety of library and community metrics allowing you to examine Wisconsin library data in a number of ways. Make sure to watch for upcoming events related to the Data Dashboard Pilot held by Library Systems across the state.

Information is being gathered via a feedback survey that should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. The survey can be accessed at this link.

Survey results will be used to develop a report about the pilot and will help inform understanding of the value of data visualization tools such as this dashboard in the current landscape and to help plan for the future. The experiences of people from new dashboard users to seasoned data enthusiasts will help WPLC and the DPI move toward a solution equitable to entire state.

The Data Dashboard Pilot has been made possible with funding from the Institute for Museum and Library Services.
